Brooks' Journey

Hi, we’re Matt and Mikell — proud parents of Brooks.

Our son was born at just 24 weeks and 6 days, weighing only 1 lb 7.5 oz, and was given just a 5% chance of survival.

What followed has been a journey we never could have imagined — filled with fear, setbacks, miracles, and incredible strength.

Brooks continues to fight every single day.

He has faced more in his short life than most do in a lifetime — brain bleeds, lung disease, infections, surgeries, and a diagnosis of cerebral palsy spastic diplegia.

Yet through it all…he smiles, he laughs, and he keeps going.

He is strong.
He is determined.
He is unstoppable.
